Hi everyone, I am currently blogging from Arizona and let me just say that planning a trip to Arizona in the middle of a frigidly cold winter in New Jersey has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life thus far in the new year. Yes, it’s still January, so the year is still new and fresh, but what a great way to start the year with a vacation in a warm, sunny climate!
I flew out yesterday from Philadelphia and will be staying for a week with family. This morning I started the day hiking in mountains for two hours (got to fit in that workout somehow in the day even though I’m on vacation and it defnitely beats running the treadmill! ;) That’s for sure!). I will be sharing photos once I am home to upload them as I took some great ones when I got to the top of the mountain. As for the rest of the day, I finished it off with a day full of shopping. Literally.
It is a shopping MECCA out here and I am totally loving it so far! Fashion definitely runs in my gene pool as my aunt is a fashionista shopper just like me! What can I say, we thrive on it, it’s in our souls. I quote her, “Trust me, we will be shopping ’til we’re dropping, hope you can keep up with me girl!” Obviously she knows I have no problems, although she did have some doubts being that I wore a pair of 4″ high black booties, which I will be wearing the entire week! I live in heels though and it really doesn’t bother me.
Anyhow, I thought it would be fun to share some of my fashion finds for the day! The photos are taken from my cousin’s Iphone, so bear with me on the quality!

From left: Furla gold evening bag, Tahari black wedges with gold detailing, Stuart Weitzman (vintage?) crossbody
The Furla gold bag is a classic, it’s a splash of flash but with an element of timelessness. The Tahari wedges are not only comfortable, but I have actually seen them before and just never bought them. It’s funny when you see something that you didn’t grab at the time and it somehow finds a way to come back in your life in just the right size! This has happened to me ONE other time and again, this is just the Universe’s way of telling me I NEED them in my life.
The Stuart Weitzman crossbody appears to be vintage going based on the interior and this is a trendy piece that I find to be stylishly fun. I wear a lot of black, so this definitely spices up the black in a hipster sort of way. It’s kind of weird, but it’s totally one-of-kind, which just makes it that much more attractive in my eyes.
It’s hard to tell by the photo, but the Marciano by Guess bustier is GORGEOUS! I plan on layering this top with differnt pieces and creating unique looks. It’s beautiful and the styling details are impeccable!
The Ralph Lauren sweater cami is a classic that never goes out of style. I’m not really a “Ralph Lauren” type of girl, but sometimes you just find pieces that work and this can definitely fit into my wardrobe with ease.
