2012 Bridal Fashion Trends and Special Interview with Sareh Nouri

Besides sharing makeup and fashion trends, I have many brides that approach me regarding the current trends in bridal fashion.  I wanted to capture this information by interviewing Sareh Nouri, a wedding gown designer based out of New Jersey.  Her work is exquisitely breathtaking and it is such an honor for me to share my interview with her with all my readers!

1) As a designer, where do you get your inspiration from?

I get my inspiration from flowers, vintage, and architectural patterns.

2) How would you describe your style aesthetic?

Romantic, Feminine, and timeless!

3) What are some current trends in bridal fashion?

Illusion necklines, sleeves, and lots of lace!

4) What do you love most about being in the bridal industry?

I love designing wedding gowns and being a part of the joyous occasion!
It is a happy time for everyone and the best part is the dress!

5) What is your favorite design from your current collection?

That is a hard question! But if I had to chose I would pick White
Swan, Queen Victoria, and Priscilla!

Thurin Atelier Luxury Bridal Design House Grand Opening Event Over the Weekend

If I take a few days to blog, chances are I’ve just been exceptionally busy and this weekend was no exception.  Besides attending a wedding that was held on St. Patrick’s Day, I wanted to share with everyone an amazing event I attended this past Friday.

 Jean-Ralph Thurin is a fashion designer with a specialization in custom designed wedding gowns and evening formalwear.  I attended his grand opening which was held in his salon in Somerville, NJ.  His attention to detail and style is not only exquisite, but all his designs are truly unique and capture a modern elegance.

This was one of my absolute favorite designs that I saw that evening. What I like about it is that it's not your traditional wedding gown and unlike anything I have ever seen before. I'm obsessed with the beading and embellished top which adds a glamourous touch and then the bottom is a really nice styling detail. This is beautiful!

Another truly one-of-a-kind design. This is more classy but still very high fashion.

This was taken before I left the event. I had such a wonderful time!
