July Giveaway Alert and Getting Back on Track

July Welcome:  Hope everyone is having a fabulous summer (I know I am)!  Last month, it was very hard for me to find the time to kick back and blog (as much as I truly wanted to!), so my goal this month is to get back on track and contribute more posts.  It should be much easier for me to do that as I’ll have much more free time this month as compared to June.

It’s so easy for me to get caught up working, especially being that I don’t consider it to be “work” as I’m so passionate about what I do; so besides focusing on working non-stop, I really want to focus on hanging out with friends/loved ones, health/fitness, and RELAXATION…ah, what a beautiful thing…(Please see image below):

This looks so peaceful and relaxing, I just need to visualize more on it this month! Seeing is believing! ;)

Despite my blog absence, I noticed it has not negatively impacted my reader statistics and that there is still such blog loyalty, which I’m truly grateful for!  Thanks for always visiting, reading, and following!

June Giveaway Alert and More Makeup Questions

June Welcome:  Why hello, hello!  For starters, I want to greatly apologize for the delay on this welcome post.  With bridal season picking up, while also finishing the tail end of prom season, my free time has been exceptionally limited these days.  Again, this does not mean I’m taking a break blogging, just that I may not be able to post as frequently as I’d like to.   

Although this will be another busy month, I do want to focus on contributing makeup questions  (ideally once a week) with some of the most asked questions I get as a makeup artist.  I like to focus on quality content and share valuable knowledge that everyone may not already be familiar with.  [Really random, but...] I’ve actually been taking tennis lessons for the past month and it’s so out of my comfort zone that it makes me realize that what’s “common knowledge” to me is not always the case for most people (in other words, not everyone lives in a fashion and makeup filled world like I do)!  My tennis teacher will explain things that I’m not familiar with whatsoever, so I can only imagine the same goes with makeup/fashion!  

So if anyone has any makeup questions they would like to ask me, feel free to also add them below as a comment or please do not hesitate to contact me directly.  Chances are, I will feature it in an upcoming post! ;)

May Welcome:  As a style/beauty blogger, I’m always looking for new inspiration and ideas for upcoming features within my blog.  However, besides striving to create brilliant content, I also want to put a sharper focus on the visual presentation.  

My absolute favorite magazine has always been Harper’s Bazaar.  What captivates my attention most is the extraordinary layouts of this publication.  Their attention to detail and creativity has always exceeded my expectations.  In a recent issue, I read about their extra efforts to change up their layouts being that fashion is always changing, so should their visual presentation.    

In terms of new features, I have been thinking of new ways to showcase fashion trends within my blogs and will share a [My Stylish Picks] section.  I haven’t created one yet, but do expect to see at least one this month!

April Giveaway Alert and Reader Focus Content

Hi everyone, time to welcome a new month and although I’m getting a late start, you will see that I’ll be playing blog catch-up as I’ll be finishing up posts I had started and post a few all at one time.  

I always have a lot to write about but really have been taking the time to listen to my readers and focusing on what they like to read most.  Although this has always been a fashion and beauty blog, I’m very happy to write about health/fitness as well being that I feel they do correlate and my readers thoroughly find the value of its content.  In time, I may actually start a blog dedicated to this area of interest, but until then, you will be able to find some fitness/health posts within this blog! 

I want to point out that last month, I reached over 100,000 hits on my blog which is pretty amazing to say the least!  Thank you everyone for your blog loyalty, whether you are you a client, friend, family member, or live on the other side of the world, just know that I genuinely value your readership!  Also, don’t forget to reach out to me if there is anything specific you would like me to write about!  I’m always open to new topics and love to share my professional expertise!        

April is always a really busy month for me but as always, I am dedicated to blogging as much as I can and really happy with the information I plan on sharing this month.  Stay tuned!

March Giveaway Alert and Things I’m Looking Forward to Along with New Makeup Feature (With Your Contribution)!

For starters, I’m looking forward to the upcoming spring season and ready to pack my winter clothes away so I can start wearing bright colors because this spring, bold bright colors are everywhere!  Shoes, accessories, clothes, makeup, you name it!

For any Madonna fans out there, her new album is expected to launch at the end of the month (March 26th to be exact, that’s what I heard so far) and I’m ecstatic!  Besides being my all time favorite artist, she is one of the few people that I will actually go and buy her CD on opening day.  (Her and Britney Spears.  Other than that, I don’t really buy CD’s anymore)!  I thought it would be cool to share a single from her upcoming album here:

On top of that, tickets for her upcoming tour this year have already started to go on sale and I’m going to be seeing her in Phoenix, Arizona with my wonderful aunt in October!  We are going to have a blast, I cannot wait!  I’m also excited to plan another trip out to Arizona this year!!!

Anyhow, enough about that, let’s get back to fashion and makeup. ;)  So I am always thinking of new ideas and features that will most benefit my readers.  I thought it would be cool to have a feature where I’m given a makeup image (from a current magazine ad, a look that a celebrity is wearing, etc.) and then I’ll re-create the look and explain the products I used.

For this month, I’m going to incorporate it as a way to enter this month’s giveaway.  This month, I want people to send me images of makeup they really like or something they’d always want to do themselves but just don’t know how to go about it and send it my way!  I will choose one look to be re-created and post it on my blog at the end of the month!
