A few days ago, I discovered Ed Hardy Love & Luck perfume (it has been around since 2008) and I was pleasantly surprised.  I’m not an Ed Hardy fan by any means; however, I didn’t let this discourage me from picking up the bottle to give it a mist.  I liked it pretty much immediately but sprayed it a few more times to kind of analyze it.  It is really indescribable, it’s unique and very refreshing.  It’s light but leaves a lasting impression.  Someone actually asked me what I was wearing today.

Whenever I met someone who told me they wore the same exact fragrance everyday, I thought to myself…now what is the fun in that?!  Especially if you have a big collection!  If I had to choose some of my favorite signature scents out of my collection..I LOVE Angel (more of a winter/fall scent in my opinion), Custo Barcelona for women (sadly discontinued, so I don’t even have the luxury to wear this everyday and have to wear sparingly now as I have very little left), Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue (loved this since it launched, this is a classic but very light), and lastly but surely NOT leastly, Escada’s Moon Sparkle (I love Escada fragrances!!  Fruity, flirty, and fun).

I never really allowed myself to wear the same exact perfume everyday but I like this so much that I may find myself wearing this (essentially) everyday.  I don’t think it’s possible for me to get sick of this scent…it’s exquisite!

In case you’re wondering, this fragrance is described:

This unforgettable scent mixes red sake accord and bergamot with blood orange and nectarine. The rich scents of sandalwood, patchouli, blackcurrant and pink peppercorn blend perfectly with forbidden plum, jasmine, cedarwood and sensual musk.

My Fall Fragrance of Choice…an Oldie but Goodie – Thierry Mugler “Angel”

I always love a good fragrance and have always believed a person with impeccable style should also have impeccable taste in fragrance.  They go hand in hand.  This time of year, I LOVE to wear Thierry Mugler’s “Angel.”  This is nothing new and has actually been out for 20 years now (1992 to be exact in case you couldn’t figure out the math, was the year this fragrance was first launched).  I probably didn’t discover it until much later in the late 90′s.

This is one of the few fragrances in which I describe that I could literally swim in it.  It’s also one of the few fragrances that I can actually detect a mile away because it’s so distinct and just so special.  I find most people have a love or hate relationship with “Angel” as it’s a very strong, dominating scent which is not for everyone.  I’m all about it though, I like a distinctive and powerful scent with a hint of sweetness.  This scent possesses vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and fruity notes.  Ahh, it’s quite heavenly as one could assume just by the name of it! ;)

[New Shower Treat] – Thymes Agave Nectar Body Wash

I recently ran out of all my body washes around the same time and I wanted to look for something new.  I actually have been using bar soaps more often these days (specifically from The Body Shop, the coconut is my favorite), partially due to the body wash shortage and I just have been liking soaps much better lately.  However, regardless, I like to switch it up so I’m not using the same thing every day, so variety is key.  I just discovered Thymes Agave Nectar Body Wash and LOVE it!

A few months back, I wrote about another Agave Nectar product I discovered so it was nice to find another one to my liking.  It has a light citrus scent and I especially love it being it’s an all-natural product and free from harsh chemicals (such as sodium laurel sulfate).

More specifically, they describe this scent (which is categorized in their citrus category):

“VIBRANT, SPARKLING AND JUICY, CITRUS NOTES ARE MADE BY EXTRACTING THE ESSENTIAL OILS OF SUN-RIPENED FRUITS, SUCH AS LEMONS, GRAPEFRUIT, LIME, MANDARIN AND NEROLI.”

This is my new favorite body wash and I definitely want to try out other products by Thymes in the future.

New Crackle Mani and a “Fresh” New Fragrance I’m Loving Right Now

I actually got this done before the weekend and had my nail person start off with two coats of MAC's "Mischievous Mint" nail lacquer (from Sugar Sweet Collection) and the OPI Black Crackle. I like this combo.

In the beginning of the summer, I blogged about my new obsession with nails and love for crackle nail polish.  I haven’t used the crackle nail polish since then and just recently tried out a new combo.  I’m using OPI’s Black Crackle (like last time) over MAC’s “Mischievous Mint” nail lacquer, which is a beautiful pastel aqua color.

I love the look of the crackle nail polish because it really looks like abstract art on the nails and you know that no nail will ever look the same.

Refreshing citrus scent with a little sweetness.

 I also wanted to share a new fragrance that I recently got from MUA that I really like!  I’m sure many of you are familiar with the company, “Fresh” which is best known for their high-end skincare.  Well I don’t know if any of you have taken the time to explore their fragrances, but they are really delightful!  I first discovered Fresh’s “Sugar Lemon” fragrance at Sephora a few weeks ago and fell in love with it (along with a few of their other fragrances).

I love fresh, citrus scents in general (such as Dolce and Gabbana’s “Light Blue,” which I have been wearing ever since it came out) and find this to be just as nice.
